Paying authors and composers for their work is fair. Collecting societies — SIAE in Italy, PRS in the UK, GEMA in Germany, SACEM in France, ASCAP and BMI in the United States — have been protecting the rights of creators for over a century, and that work matters. But here's what most business owners notice only after years of paying: the fee covers the right to broadcast music, not the curation of the right music for your venue.
A restaurant owner who pays their licensing fees regularly still has to figure out which music to actually play. So they end up with Spotify running in the background, or a random playlist a staff member downloaded, or a free YouTube mix interrupted by ads. None of it fits the mood of the venue. None of it is editorially curated. None of it was ever the job of the licensing body — curation simply isn't part of what collecting societies do. It was never meant to be.
My Corporate Radio was built to solve exactly this. Not the licensing problem — the curation problem. Five radios, each designed for a specific type of venue, curated by a professional broadcaster with over 20 years of on-air experience. Refreshed every week with new tracks. Ready to play in 30 seconds, without your staff having to make any decision about what to put on.
The music you stream with My Corporate Radio is produced in-house. We own the rights to every track, and we grant you a direct license to play it in your venue as part of the monthly subscription. This model is one of the options formally recognized by EU Directive 2014/26 and implemented in Italy through D.Lgs. 35/2017, which regulates both collective management organizations and independent licensing operators.
In practical terms, this means that the €9.99/month fee already includes everything needed to legally play our music in your business. There are no additional fees to any collecting society for the tracks in our catalog, because those tracks are originally produced and directly licensed — they are simply not part of any collecting society repertoire. This is one of the legal options available to businesses under European law, alongside the traditional collective management model.

No separate PRO fees for our catalog. No playlist maintenance. No Spotify Premium ambiguity. Just curated radio, ready to play, fully licensed.
We didn't build this to replace the traditional licensing system. We built it because there was a need that nobody else was filling: professional editorial curation for venues that deserve better than a random playlist.
"I spent twenty years curating music on air.
I wanted to bring that same discipline
to venues that deserve better than a random playlist."
Emanuele Carocci is the founder of My Corporate Radio and the curator behind the five radios you'd hear on this service. He's been a professional radio broadcaster for over 20 years, the last 10 of which on air at RTL 102.5, one of Italy's leading national commercial radio stations, where he co-hosts a daily morning show.
He started this project because he kept meeting small business owners who were frustrated with the music they were actually playing: algorithmic playlists, random Spotify mixes, no editorial consistency. They wanted something curated for their specific venue, and there wasn't a clear option. He built the first version himself, using the same editorial tools he uses on air every day.
The five radios you can stream today — Elegant, Upbeat, Energy, Focus, Party — are curated with the same discipline used to program a professional radio station. New tracks added every week. No algorithm. No random shuffle. Just actual editorial work done by people who do this for a living.
